The Challenge

Red Energy’s main wish was to create 1 team: 1 business, 3 brands.

As each brand had their own intranet, all operating on separate and outdated software, Red Energy struggled to communicate the same message consistently. Not all employees had access to all intranets and contributors often had to duplicate communications for each system.

The goal of the project was to ignite conversation and foster community.

One of the objectives was to create conversation, and that is happening. I have never seen that before.

Why LumApps

Red Energy had been interested in LumApps since 2015, however their infrastructure needed to be restructured beforehand. By 2017 Red Energy had become a G Suite business, so LumApps was an obvious fit.

Ultimately, LumApps was chosen for 6 main reasons:

  • SaaS: Software as a service, no hardware, no hosting, no coding, READY-TO-GO
  • Roadmap Alignment: Aligns with Google product roadmap and Red Energy’s future directions to meet customer needs
  • G Suite integration: Out-of-the-box, full integration with G-Suite family of products
  • Security: Built using Google’s requirements for integration and meets Google’s standards for Security & Compliance
  • Speed to market: Quick deployment in just a few months
  • Chosen by Google: Recommended and chosen by Google for corporate communications and social sharing capabilities
